The concept of Penny Farthing Productions was established in 2019, not long before Covid turned everybody’s world upside down.

We are now, however, back in full swing!

Founder and actor/scriptwriter, Marc Lensly, has done professional acting for many years - theatre, school productions, television and film - and has taught English at secondary school in Belgium and the Netherlands, as well at various language centres in Belgium.

We specialise in English theatrical productions for secondary schools and tertiary educational institutions in Belgium.

The study material for English in, especially secondary schools, is meticulously scrutinised in order to create plays in English that are appropriate for the age group and that in easy to understand English.

Each production is accompanied with an information study guide, which can be used for lesson plans, discussions, tasks and exercises in class afterwards.

We focus primarily on the classics and still believe in old-fashioned, traditional theatre.
